APPLE, CAULIFLOWER AND ZUCCHINI PARATHA
" Apple a day keeps a doctor away". Generally most of the kids doesn't like to eat fruit and vegetables . So I came with this healthy paratha.
Ingredients :
2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 tbsp flax seed meal
1 grated Apple
1 small grated zucchini
1/2 small grated cauliflower floret
1/2 tbsp of curd
Water for kneading the dough
Recipe :
Mix all the above ingredients into a bowl and knead it into stiff dough(like a chappathi dough ) .Rolling the dough until it is even will make it possible for the entire paratha to puff up and place the paratha on the pan and cook it for a min and half and flip it over and cook the otherside .Remove from the stove and serve immediately with a side dish and raita ...

Make a stiff dough with above ingredients and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.Meanwhile coarsely grind the Nuts in the processor and add jaggery or coconut palm sugar .
Make balls out of the dough and with help of the chappathi roller make the balls into a round shape and keep the filling inside and roll and make into a circle shape.Meanwhile place the tawa on the medium heat stove and cook the paratha two minutes on each side and serve immediately ..Hot Paratha is ready !!!!...
NUTS PARATHA

Ingredients
1/2 tbsp of flax seed meal
water (required to knead stiff dough )
1/2 tsp of salt
1 cup of whole wheat flour
For filling :
3 tbsp of dried fruits and nuts finely chopped ( I used almonds ,walnuts, raisins , pine nuts , dates , peanuts and apricots)
1/2 tsp of jaggery or coconut palm sugar (totally option ..if u prepare ).
